Well, it has been a while since I've made an update. The days are flying by this Spring. We celebrated Easter with an Easter egg hunt in our neighborhood park. Mira was more interested with the sand than finding the eggs. She did enjoy her Easter basket but was not a happy camper when her eggs toppled out of the basket.
She has perfected walking and climbing up and down the stairs. We've finally had to start baby-proofing the house because she is into everything. I follow her from one mess to the next throughout the house. The toddler years are going to be a blast!
Last weekend she developed quite the attachment to her baby doll she got for her birthday. She has to have it everywhere we go. It's pretty adorable. Erin and Sammie picked out a keeper!
She is also learning where all her body parts are. She loves to lift her shirt and show us her belly button. We also heard her first animal noise this weekend, which was a moo. All animals she sees now require a moo. As far as words go, besides mama and dada, she says na na a lot when she wants something. We hear that one a lot! She surprised us with dog and ball but only once.
We've also been taking her to swim lessons once a week at our community center. She loves the water and the other kids. Last week we went under twice!
She still loves to read and be outside. We can't wait to take her camping this Summer.
